Beautiful place, so early in the morning and feel great (if a little sore and tired) when I get home. You were so right! Great group of people and a real "feel good" experience - so far.

I love variety. As a former high school athlete, I played a different sport each session. I was not a runner and never found myself at a point where running was enjoyable, but your daily variety is perfect for me and makes the hour go by quickly. I have been an endurance athlete for over 20 years, competitive at both the collegiate and amateur levels.

After completing my first Ironman distance triathlon, I realized I was missing an essential piece of my fitness.  I had never done any serious, focused strength and agility training and wanted to build my core strength.

I began working with Susan to help me focus on this area and she brought unique, challenging and fun workouts to our sessions.  Where I once dreaded the idea of strength training, I now look forward to it and not only am motivated while working with her, but also working on my own.

I recently had my second baby and trained with Susan throughout my pregnancy.  The difference in my fitness and endurance was unbelievable!  I was able to run up until the day I delivered and was back on my feet, working out again a week after delivery.  I had no back pain or other injuries unlike during my first pregnancy when I was only doing endurance work.

Three months out, I am running fairly long distances, up to 12 miles at a time with a better kick at the end and am doing threshold workouts on my bike that are far more effective than before I began working with Susan.  She is fabulous at focusing on my individual needs and making this tough work a blast!

My future goals include continuing long distance racing, both marathons and 1/2 Ironman distance races with the goal of qualifying for the Ironman World Championship at Kona in 2015 (Once my kids are in school!)  I cannot recommend working with Susan enough.  She has truly changed my life!

I am a 63 year old that is pretty new to athletics. Even though I worked out during the winter, I knew I would benefit from some more structure in the spring before the season began. Little did I know what Susan’s Boot Camp would do for me!

After a couple of weeks of being really sore, I knew I was using muscles that I had not, but should have, been using! This was especially true of the dreaded core. I had a hard time working myself up to doing the crunches and all that I knew I should be doing.

Boot Camp was so varied, in such a gorgeous setting, with such great coaching from Susan and Lisa that the core work, sprinting and plyometrics got done without dread! And what a difference it has made in everything from yard work to triathlon!

I especially appreciated the fact that they encouraged but did not threaten, and were quick to provide adaptive versions of the exercises when asked. It was always a completely non judgmental atmosphere. I can honestly say I left every sunrise session with a smile on my face and energy for the day.

Bryan C. says “Results by Thursday!” for Bootcamp :

The first week I noticed a much greater capacity to squat for long periods – constantly squatting in wallyball – and jump with more endurance at wallyball – all by Thursday of week one!

Also, loved getting on the ground for the abs and obliques. We hit core with a lot of exercises, but the straigh abs was fun to get back to during Bootcamp.

I credit Susan with my improvements on the volleyball court and comfort over the past 12 months. It was early summer 2010 when I met with Susan to seal up my abs and back first before moving to legs. I credit Susan with my power serve coming back, and now my hitting on the sand surface.

Susan is personable and committed to helping you achieve your fitness goals. Her encouragement has helped build my confidence and foster my ability to push hard until the end.
